@rriverstone1 this particular segment of Charlie Brooker’s Newswipe is (in my opinion) very heavily influenced by Chris Morris’ The Day Today, a tv show i highly recommend you to look for if you can get it. very funny stuff. news over here has been like this for years and years now.
After the BBC Co-produced Band of Brothers and put $11 Million dollars to it, they still would’nt put it on BBC1 because it was too ‘Mainstream’ and instead they put it on BBC2 and anyway Brooker suits the rest of of them on BBC4, dont think the BBC2 viewers are much like the viewers of BBC4. Im sure they think Newswipe isnt Mainstream.
